  • "Our son did the 3 year Casa program at MFC and I cannot rave enough about it. Not only did he learn actual facts about the world and the A,B,C's but he learned how to learn and how to be an independent learner. It is a warm, nurturing and respectful environment, with lots of creative and fun special events throughout the year. As an added bonus, they have a fantastic French language program. Tracey has  created a little gem of a school."

  • "Our son spent three years at Montessori for Children. We didn't know too much about the Montessori program before starting. Our son was quite an active little boy and we worried that the school may be to rigid for his personality. As it turned out, MFC was exactly what he needed. MFC helped his motor skills, his patience, his independence and certainly his confidence. MFC proved to be the best investment we ever made. Our son would not be who he is today without them."

  • "We could not imagine a better environment for our two children than the 4 years they each spent at the Montessori for Children on Alvin. Our son and our daughter both started between the ages of 2.5 and 3 years old. Our children have very different personalities and the school was perfect for both children, allowing them to thrive on their own and in group settings. The program was perfectly balanced to allow our children to learn and grow in the unique ways necessary for each of them. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive to the needs of the children and a real bond was formed between the children and all the teachers and staff. Both children graduated as 6 year olds brimming with confidence, knowledge, a love for learning, and good friends. The learning concepts acquired at Montessori for Children helped them to enter grade 1 with very strong math and reading skills, as well as social skills. Thanks for the great years!"

  • "My children's time at Montessori for Children was an engaging, intentional and sophisticated experience that far surpassed my greatest hopes of what a preschool could offer. It addressed them as intelligent, capable little people and gave them a priceless foundation for their future learning. I would highly and unreservedly recommend it to any parent for their child"

  • "We are truly thankful for the experience our daughter had at Montessori for Children. It provided her with a strong educational foundation, fostered a solid sense of independence, self-esteem, confidence and leadership skills, all in a supportive and nurturing environment. We were extremely pleased with the specialized and authentic Montessori curriculum and the whole child approach. Our daughter continues  to achieve outstanding academic success based on the  wonderful foundation from Montessori for Children."

  • "I was fortunate enough to be able to send all three of my children to Montessori for Children, and our family spent a total of eight years at the school. Each of them thrived at the school under Tracey's direction and the excellent guidance of the staff. They all had individual learning styles and behaviors, but the school was easily able to bring out their strengths while helping them with any weaknesses. Their social skills were far above many of their peers upon entrance to grade one."

  • "When we looked for an early education experience for our eldest child, we were looking for a school that would provide an excellent learning environment and foster creativity, independence and social development. What we found at MFC St Clair was not only that, we also found a true school home for ourselves as well as our children. We are so grateful for the time we were members of the MFC community. The dedication of the director and teachers was beyond my expectations. We have 3 children, with 3 very different personalities who attended the school. Each child thrived at MFC. I especially appreciated how the teachers loved and tended to each child and appreciated each one's unique personalities and skill sets. The child I worried would have trouble adapting to a new school, came home within a week chatting about his new friends and brimming with pride of his appointed duty as "snack assistant". The child I worried would spend a majority of the time in a time-out had a teacher speak glowingly of his "energy and leadership potential" and how grateful she was to have him as a member of the classroom! Our shy child blossomed under the teacher's love and guidance and learned to become more independent and now is commonly described as "feisty". All 3 children filled our home with French words and songs from MFC. In fact, our children left MFC speaking more French than some of their peers in French immersion programs. Our children continue to show respect and appreciation for the peers that I believe was built on the foundation set at MFC. They continue to take on challenging work in their schools and have a love of learning that was instilled in them by the outstanding staff at MFC St Clair. I will be forever grateful for the gift of MFC St Clair and what it brought to our family."

  • "We love Montessori education because we believe that better than any other approach, it imbues children with a true love of learning, which of course is the greatest educational gift one can give to a young child. We love Montessori for Children (MFC) because we believe it provides all the hallmarks of an authentic Montessori education - it draws on and encourages the natural inclination to learning in children, encourages the child to learn organically and holistically and socially. At MFC the teachers really get to know and understand the peculiar gifts and talents and temperament of each child, drawing on this knowledge to guide students most effectively in directions in which the child at a deep level already wishes to go. At MFC, particularly in the teaching of practical life skills and directed play, children use all of their senses and thus learn holistically, which turns out to be the best basis for advancing in academics. We could not have been happier with our whole experience at MFC, and wholeheartedly recommend it to all  our friends and acquaintances  with small children."                   Prof. John B
