We are a Private Montessori School registered with the Ministry of Education, adopting the Montessori method (as prescribed and administered by the Association Montessori International. We offer a Casa (pre-primary school) program for children aged 2 1/2 - 6.
Montessori for Children Toronto has been in operation since 1995. We are member schools of Montessori for Children who have branches in Hong Kong (est. 1986) and in Singapore (established in 1992 and 1998). |

Montessori for Children Toronto St Clair was established in 1995 and is well known in the neighborhood to be a warm, nurturing environment, providing quality Montessori education by AMI (Association Montessori International) trained staff. Our school house is nestled in the Yonge/St Clair neighborhood, directly across from the St Clair Subway Station.
The hardwood-floored classrooms have large, bright windows, a full range of Montessori materials and creates the perfect setting for children to develop and reach their fullest potential in a warm, nurturing home away from home. The teachers are dedicated to keeping alive in each child, the love of learning and to allow them to learn, interact and explore at their own pace, in a non-competitive environment.
The only way to really understand and see the beauty of a Montessori environment is to witness it first hand and see a Montessori classroom in progress. Please contact the school to arrange a tour and visit the classrooms where you will have the opportunity to see the hubbub of activity, freedom of movement, focus, interaction, concentration and sheer delight and joy for learning that the children experience in a Montessori classroom.
